Empyrean Winter Tilt
???
looks to be a belgian red variant, also never heard of a belgian red but hey…
I think the name refers to soltice as it is a festival ale.

Maybe more than you want to know. But the astro.unl.edu is a pretty cool website for explaining all things astronomy related.
What were your thoughts on this beer? I live 20 minutes from their brewery and find its as good from the bottle as it is on tap. I really enjoy this one.
It was ok. Quite cloudy, amber colour. I’d had a couple hoppy IPA’s prior so I found it a bit bland in comparison but on it’s own I’m sure it would be very enjoyable. This was on tap in Fargo ND and I think it was fairly fresh.
i don’t think empyrean really ever brews to ‘style’ they just brew what they like. they are on the east end of my state but i visit them whenever i’m in lincoln.
