Beer and ice

Or, take a small amount of your homebrew and eis it, then drink the runnings, re-melt, and then freeze the residual in ice trays. I put ice beer in your beer so you can ice your beer while you beer.

Homebrew concentration?!  Uhuh.  That oughta start a whole nother debate.

FWIW It’s been a cool semi-wet summer here too Phil.  Normal windward Hawaii kine summer weather.  No heat-crazed loons putting ice cubes in their beer here. ;D

For anyone who’s seen Brother from Another Planet, putting ice in beer is a sure giveaway that you’re an alien from outer space!

strew you duys (and doll), i likes my make shift shandy.  8)

It’s been sweltering in Italy  :o .  I just turn the beer fridge down lower  :).

We have what we call pickup beers around here.  Beers that have been in the backseat or the bed of the truck.  I will crack it open and drink it warm.  No ice needed.
I’ll take ice in my mixed drink though, it gives me something to do since there isn’t a label to peel… ???

I’m not convinced it was a finger that Drew was thinking of… funny either way though.

I voted “no” but my one exception is a michelada.

good survey euge, but i am with the naysayers.  I don’t even like ice in my whiskey/bourbon.
It is ok in certain mixed drinks and with gingerale…fin

Absolutely on a really hot day - my Classic American Pilsner can’t be too cold and since it comes in at 6.2% ABV, it doesn’t hurt to cut it a little with some ice.

Nearly ten percent isn;t bad! I thought there wouldn;t be any takers. Glad I’ve incorporated this into my refreshment repertoire regardless of public opinion.

Hablar por sí mismo, mi amigo. Eres un cachorro enfermo…

Just kidding euge.  “I luv ya more than my luggage!”
