Or, take a small amount of your homebrew and eis it, then drink the runnings, re-melt, and then freeze the residual in ice trays. I put ice beer in your beer so you can ice your beer while you beer.
Homebrew concentration?! Uhuh. That oughta start a whole nother debate.
FWIW It’s been a cool semi-wet summer here too Phil. Normal windward Hawaii kine summer weather. No heat-crazed loons putting ice cubes in their beer here. ;D
We have what we call pickup beers around here. Beers that have been in the backseat or the bed of the truck. I will crack it open and drink it warm. No ice needed.
I’ll take ice in my mixed drink though, it gives me something to do since there isn’t a label to peel… ???
Absolutely on a really hot day - my Classic American Pilsner can’t be too cold and since it comes in at 6.2% ABV, it doesn’t hurt to cut it a little with some ice.
Nearly ten percent isn;t bad! I thought there wouldn;t be any takers. Glad I’ve incorporated this into my refreshment repertoire regardless of public opinion.
