Gordon Strong, "Brewing Better Beer" on Amazon pre-order & in WorldCat

If someone up there helps me arrange one, I will.  I’ll be up there over Christmas and New Years.

I think to best hit your target audience we could arrange for you to give a talk, and then you can sell/sign books afterward.  It would take up a few hours one evening though, and attendance might be down because of the holidays.  We can talk, if it works out that would be great, if it doesn’t, it doesn’t.

Or, those of us w/ books to have signed could all just arrange to meet up somewhere (Brouwer’s perhaps?)  Treat you to an evening of dinner & beers & get our signatures…

Either of those sounds good.  We can talk details in San Diego and set something up later in the year.

Sounds good.

Haven’t planned it so far, but I do get up to Minnesota every so often.  If I drive, I go through Wisconsin.  Or you could make me a deal…  ;)  I speak at events and such.  Did that for people in Frankenmuth last month.

How about a few great cigars and all the homebrew you can drink?  ;D  I live only 2.5 hours from the Twin Cities and would definitely swing over there if you’re giving a talk at an event.

Ordered mine last night.  Looking forward to it!!

“Order has shipped.”

Wait…what?  Shipping already?  That would be awesome.

Do you think me beer will do better in the first round now that I will soon have this book?  :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, just owning the book is guaranteed to improve your beers’ scores by 1 point compared to identical beers judged under identical conditions.  Reading it will get you 3 points more per beer, and applying it will get you 5-17 more points, depending.

…and just waving the book over your fermentation vessel will give you 2 points for overall impression.

Don’t forget too, grinding the book up & adding it to a batch will make that batch the BEST beer on Earth - ever!

In all honesty you have to hand it to Gordon. Anybody that can win three back to back Ninkasi awards is “the man” in my book(no pun intended yet)

+1 Just ordered my copy.

Shipping already?  That’s great.  Hopefully I get to actually see it soon.

Be sure to read the foreword, it’s by Mufasa.  That dude is righteous.

Yup, got the confirmation email this morning. I called the Ninkasi trophy people to give them the proper spelling of my name so there’s no mistakes in the engraving.  ;D

I ordered from AHA too, I wonder where my confirmation email is?

got my shipment notice at about 2:30 today.  can’t wait!

I’m looking forward to it arriving.

Got my shipping confirmation on Friday.

So will my Ninkasi be included in there, or will it be shipped seperately?
