I need a sword...

We call that a 7 course meal

Dude! You can’t beat that deal for 8 bucks! And don’t forget, it’s Nachos Navidad!!!  ;D

Oh yeah, I always forget about their Christmas commercial on TV.  That song just sticks in your head for days…

My wife and kids started playing Christmas music around Halloween.  Now with radio stations, both broadcast and satellite, playing “continuous holiday favorites” I’m ready to gag.  Don’t get me wrong, I like Christmas music, just not all the time for months on end.

Sorry, now back to the real discussion.

I’ve never considered a “6 pack and a pound” a meal for one person.  It would feed my four kids and my wife.  I wouldn’t dream of eating one by myself.  (Of course I work for a company where the new health plans for next year will make anyone who isn’t built like Twiggy feel like an obese blob so I may be a bit sensitive.  As well as broke.)

Yeah, I know what you mean, but it’s a good start anyway…

Hike up your skirt, pull out your tampon, and plow through it, Sally!!  ;D

Now I’m really curious about the famous Taco John’s. Man…the closest TJ’s is 434mi. away in Athens, Ohio.

Road Trip?  :-\ ;D

If I can remember how to post a picture, this is a photo I took at the very same Japanese Garden in the springtime several years ago.  I love that place.

I lived three hours from a TAco Johns, and I’m just now finding out about it?!?!?!

Seriously, that pic is REAL!! Amazing! I have to go there.

Haha, yeah it’s definitely a meal one person can eat.  But they’re the few, the proud!

I live in the land of the “taco” so really didn’t expect to see a Taco Johns in my area but low and behold there are 4 locations in Texas and one in my city! Except that it is on Lackland AFB. :-\

Maybe I can get someone to bring me the delights of TJ.

Seriously, this place has to have the best fast food taco there is.

Huh. :-\  I totally thought it was a sixer of beer and a pound of tacos. ;D

To be honest I did not expect potato-nuggets. How anglicized can you get?

These are tacos:

Where do you live now? You know Taco Johns is a Wyoming product. Hell there has to be two or three withing a stones throw, no?

My wife used to LOVE Taco Johns, then she married a Mexican…Now she cringes like I do.

+1  Sorry weazletoe, Where I live there are taco john’s across the street from Taco Bells.  I walk
kitty corner and go to “On the Border”…and have my doubts about their stuff as well…
The thing is, when I do that I can be served Negra Modelo. Not offered at the Bell or Johns.

You are spot on with this assessment rabid_dingo

Note that I said “fast food taco”. I’m not talking “best taco ever”. There are lots of places that have a better taco. But If I’m gonna hit a a drive through, and I can’t make it to the taco truck, Taco Johns wins every time.

Six pack and a pound…a pound of tacos and six pack of beer…I just might have to put this on the menu when I open my taco stand in the turtle park! (with that,I do believe we’ve come full circle. Now, back to your regularly scheduled BFI thread.  ;D )

I’m going to TJ’s tonight!  It’s Taco Tuesday!

Oh yeah, there is a Taco Johns right here in Pocatello. I’ve never had Taco Johns till I moved here. Now, I find out there was a Taco Johns just three hours from me when I lived in Ohio. I could have been going there for years!

Would’ve been a long drive just for that.  Not worth it in my opinion.  For that matter, not many places are worth a 3 hour drive.  I sure would like to go to Great Dane brewpub & restaurant again in Madison, WI, which is 3 hours or so from me.  But I don’t really have the time or money to make that trip often.
