Keg beer line survey

Wow, that’s in depth.  I’m due for new lines and I think I actually have 5 foot lines right now…not sure what to go to and I dropped my kegerator temp so the beer coming out is about 35-36F instead of 40F. I figure the beer can warm up easier than I could cool it down. Plus, it’ll help with clearing the beer faster while it’s carbonating…I hope anyway.

So I changed my keg beer lines out today to 10 ft 3/16 and now I have a great pour!  This wrench helped greatly by the way http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0071BPTK2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I am happy.

I assume it’s because 5 ft does give a balanced pour at 10 psi, and if you don’t stop to think about what’s actually happening to the beer, it’s easy to say “well, 10 psi over 5 feet is 2 psi/ft.”
