OK, we DID it!

hmmmmm.  I can’t brew enough to even come close to keeping Malt and Vine supplied…

I was wondering about that. What is your brew schedule and ultimate capacity? Besides 10 gallons at a whack.

Probably 20-30 gallons a week.  We’re not trying get rich or even quit our day jobs.  Just a little side business, doing what we love doing. As a homebrew, I’ve often reached my storage capacity and have to give away beer to make room so I can brew more.  Now, (hopefully) we can sell that beer.  Of course paying federal and state tax on beer I drink myself will be a PITA, but, oh well.

Just send them a keg, and give us a week notice of the exact time they put it on tap to the second. Malt and Vine sells out of specialty stuff in no time flat.

Congrats. send me your ttb contact so I can get out of this holding pattern HELL! I’m so stoked for ya!! Go brew beer! We will swap in the near future! Happy for ya! YA,  fricking hooooooo!

Our final review is Due tomorrow! Anyone willing to take that bet?

No bets from me.  We had to stay on them every step of the way.  But, now that it’s all over, it wasn’t all that bad…

Our specialist review was due on 7/14 and nothing happened. I finally called today to see what is up. It seems processing times really vary wildly by region.

Our “specialist review” was due 6/16.  We got final TTB approval on 7/19.

I got a hold of our assigned specialist’s contact info and dropped her an email. We’ll see what happens next.

Call every day and email every day and can the help line every day and ask for help the help line love to help and are the best. Still waiting until monday. I want to make beer not flip burgers.

I will let you know when I got beer for ya, until then silence. Hope to talk to you soon.

I left another message today with the help line.

In conjunction with the Brewer’s Association’s earlier announcement about the HUGE amount of new breweries in planning, the TTB told me today that they have been absolutely slammed with applications. They are saying it is taking 90+ calendar days to process an online application now. Guess I should have submitted earlier! Oh well, plenty of buildout to finish at our location in the meantime.

They told me 90 days as well.  It actually took about 60.

OK we got the brewers permit. Now we wait in line for our label ok.

When did you originally submit?

May 5. You have to be diligent. when it slows you got to shake cages with gloved hands.

I got alot of “I don’t know why this hasn’t gone through; Really!.I don’t know why this didn’t go through.”

Watch what is posted on your PONL account, I think alot of what happens is because of what is on there. where had correction requested since June 23 and it never disappeared until we got out permit. the correction was recieved on June 25, go figure.

My experience shows you should do your diligence. You are alone in making it happen.
