It’s sad that we have to rely on Eli Manning as the last line of defense now. Every year another Brady superbowl win is like the threat of nuclear annihilation that hung over us during the cold war.
I’m actually looking forward to the game. I think it will be a good one. I will become a GIANTS fan for one day. 
I just can’t find the motivation to route for either team. I will watch the game out of tradition. I host my annual Texas Hold’em poker game in the afternoon. Homebrew and my infamous chili will be served. It’s a great time to be had by all. However, I just can’t get excited about this game. The commercials are always funny and Madonna…well I’m not sure how I feel about her. Should be interesting.
As a long time dolphins fan I’ve never found a lack of motivation to root against the pats. Should be a good game regardless. Plus I get to eat chili and drink beer all day.

I just always liked the Dolphins and put them as my #2 favorite team. I only root against them when they play the Titans. Until the Titans came to Nashville (which is about 2 hours away) they used to broadcast Miami every Sunday. But even when I lived in PA I had a special affinity for the 'fins. Not really sure why, perhaps just the color or their uniforms. :
I have the same feelings about the Dolphins as you have against the Pats…just hasn’t seemed worth the effort in the past few years. ;D

Nine more days for what? The football season ended two weeks ago, except for a small region of yankeeland. I mean who really gives a rat’s ass about another New York - Boston rivalry (New Jersey - Foxboro), aside from fans who live in that narrow slice of the Northeast?
The only thing less interesting is the Probowl. I was offered a free trip to the game and decined. Honolulu gets pretty weird when all of that is going on. I’d rather stay home and brew.

I love the probowl! It just seems so fun to me. Some day I’d like to go.
I think it is a tad ridiculous that the moved the Pro Bowl before the Superbowl. The two “best teams” will never have anybody playing.
I guess it is all about ratings and holding the feeble minded fans attention.
You know the press was hoping for a East coast West coast show down.
