My son lives in Cedar Falls, IA, and yesterday he let me know about a LHBS store that opened there.
Iowa has become a brewing supply desert over the past few years so it’s good find a new place (to me anyway).
The store is called Happy’s CBD and Homebrew Store (https://www.facebook.com/p/Happys-CBD-and-Home-Brew-100095601910555/). The Facebook page doesn’t say much about beer but my son stopped in and found they have a decent selection of grains/kits/equipment. They seem to have opened about 2 years ago but aren’t doing much to get their name out there.
So… if you’re looking for supplies on the east side of Iowa, there is an option I was not aware of.
(If there is someplace in central Iowa that I haven’t found, I’d love to know about it.)
