Making 10 gal of pre-prohibition pilsner (first ever attempt at this style).
Will be racking 5 gal of Vienna lager to secondary and will use the yeast cake (cry havoc).
also will be kegging some Hazelnut Latte Stout (and adding the cold steeped coffee and hazelnut).
If we don’t know any of the people, how can we make a decision? Aren’t they all supporting homebrewers, trying to legalizing the craft where it needs, broaden some of the current laws to favor homebrewing, shipping issues, etc. etc? I understand that it has to have some sort of voting or it doesn’t meet certain legal requirements but… so help me out here… what are the issues and why should I vote for one person over another?
Are you kidding me? I know the guy pretty well. He’s damn shady! But isn’t that what we need in a politician?
Dean’s absolutely right in one regard - everyone who’s running is dedicated to this crazy little dance we do and that’s great. No matter the outcome of the elections this year, I hope that the AHA can find a way to harness it all and keep us moving forward.
To be honest, I’d just feel bad if I cast a vote without knowing why I voted for any one person in particular. I’m sure each person would be as good a choice as any other. Maybe next time.
