AHA Independence and Momentum Update
Happy November! 2025 has been a watershed year for the AHA as we are now fully independent. With independence to become our own stand-alone nonprofit comes significant progress and even bigger plans.
Here’s a taste of what’s inside our latest update:
- A new strategic vision: A homebrewer in every neighborhood and a homebrew club in every community.
- Five volunteer committees + 30+ members helping guide our next chapter.
- Filing for both 501(c)(6) and 501(c)(3) nonprofit status to expand our mission.
- Highlights from the 2025 National Homebrew Competition and Zymurgy’s biggest issue of the year.
- Exciting plans ahead—Homebrew Con 2026, member service upgrades, advocacy initiatives, and more!
