Our next guest expert will be Sean Paxton, the Homebrew Chef. Sean will answer questions about food, beer, beer and food, brewing beer to go with food…you get the idea! From April 4-10, we’ll be taking questions for Sean at AskTheExperts@brewersassociation.org . Please wait til then to send questions, but start thinking about them now! I’m excited and grateful to have Sean joining us. Hope you all have some great questions for him.
I would like to hear about his adventures with beer and bbq.
This couldn’t have come at a better time. I have questions about food pairings for a beer vs. wine party coming up. Thanks again Denny for giving me the heads up on this.
I want to ask him what is his regimen for caring for that beard.
Just brush the old food out once in a while! ;)
I am having some issues sending in a question to the email address provided. Every time I try to send it I get a response back saying it failed to deliver…
Strange…I’ve been seeing questions come in so it seems to be working. PM your question to me and I’ll pass it on.
The email issues we were having have been resolved, so send in those questions!
The questions for Sean are now closed. The answers will be posted in a week or so and we’ll let you know when that is. Our next expert will be Patrick Rue from the Bruery, who will take questions about homebrewers opening a commercial brewery.
I’ll be eager to hear his responses - and I’m really looking foward to his dinner w/ Firestone Walker during Seattle beer week next month - he’s revealed that it’s going to be a 10-course Cajun meal. So awesome. I Love Cajun food.
Have the Paxton responses been posted yet? Maybe I’m looking in the wrong spot?
Nope, they haven’t. I spoke with him about a week ago and he had been having some family things to deal with. He said he was working on them and I hope to have them posted soon.
It may be a bit longer - he’s on his way to Seattle today for Seattle Beer Week events he’s cooking for.
