Any harm putting beer gas tank and regulator inside the keezer with the keg? I have yet to build a collar so i dont want my keezer door cracked with gas line hanging out can i put it inside? Cheers
I have mine inside, but I do have a 2 X 8 collar. I’m considering moving it outside and using that space for another keg. I have 3 in there now and 4 would be nice. My keeze is made from about a 7 cu. ft freezer. I’m considering reworking the beer lines to better organize the inside and use less room also. It’s fine until the keg is empty and you have to get inside and remove or add a keg…
It is fine, but realize that the pressure you read on the refrigerated gauge may be inaccurate. I have a separate gauge that I can keep at room temperature and measure the pressure in the keg. The gauge on the regulator that is cold reads a few psi too low, and I have learned over time how much to compensate.
I like my beer tank outside of the Keezer. I appreciate more space, and it’s nice to carb water or beer outside of the Keezer to quickly switch out a keg.
