Beer in Puerto Rico?

I’m heading to San Juan in late May/early June and wondered if there were any good brewery’s in PR?

My job takes me to San Juan quite often. The local beer Madialia Light is not that good.

Here is a link to the only Micro Brewery in PR.
The OLD Harbor Brewery.

About 8 beers on tab. The brew Master is from Montana moved to Germany to learn brewing. They just popped open an IPA.  beer is quite nice.

They also sell a pale and a porter to “The Brick House” about 5 blocks away good wings.

I have a call in for more info will pass it on.

Old Harbor is great - I especially like their Coqui Pale Ale. Good food too.

Medalla (not Light) is a GREAT American-style lager, and can be found anywhere. You’ll have minimal choices otherwise - Heineken is another local favorite. Draft beer is non-existant.

Learn to love the rum. It’s ubiquitous, good, and cheap.

Hey guys, the craft beer scene has been experiencing some changes here in the island. Here is and update on that!
