A friend of mine just tricked out his basement and has commercial beer on tap. He asked me about cleaning and maintaining the beer line and faucet but I keep thinking about homebrew setups with cornelius kegs, the ability to fill our kegs with cleanser or sanitizer, etc. So I need some kind of handheld container that can be filled with hot water and Oxi and also Starsan solution that will connect to his beer line and can be pumped through the line and faucet. Is this universal? Do I need a pic of the connection at the end of his beer line? Does anyone have a link to such a device? I’ll be thanking you.
This fastener looks like it should unscrew. Take that apart and then a small tank with a “plunger” on it to run the cleanser and sanitizer through the line and faucet? Am I dreaming or does this exist?
This is what I use for cleaning lines (which is almost never. Don’t judge 
). It’s a common handheld garden sprayer fitted with a ball-lock fitting. You may need a different fitting but the idea seems to be what you are after…?
Yes, that device but with the connector for a commercial keg fitting. I’m so “homebrew” that I have no idea what the connection/fitting is for a commercial setup like this. I’m also spoiled because I can fill my own cornies with cleansing and sanitizing solution and run it through my lines easily. Do you have a link to that device? Maybe I can order it with a different fitting. Thanks for the reply.

No need to take it apart. This connects to your shank and pushed cleaner backwards from the shank into the keg.
Oh wow .. I didn’t envision that. So you wait until the keg is empty and push solution from faucet (shank .. the faucet is removed) to keg? And you return the keg with some amount of cleanser and sanitizer in there and the commercial keg peeps don’t care because they’re going to clean and sanitize the keg anyway? Am I seeing that clearly?
That sounds correct. You will just need to pull the pressure relief valve on the keg to pump the solution through. Alternatively, you can remove the coupler from the keg and collect the liquid in a bucket, either way your coupler will also get cleaned.
