Hi everyone and good morning >>>>Fraking Hot here in Cali!!
Since I received great advice on my Citrus Mistress recipe :)… Can you guys critique this Blond ale
FYI: You guys should be paid consultants… BUTafter you give me advice…LOL
This might be slightly hoppier than the averages I see for blond ales which are in the ranges of 18-22 or so IBU and low 5% abvs that Ive seen…
My BU/GU ratio is: .48 The Beer style BU/GU charts Ive seen indicated to be around 0.47 for the BU/GU ratio
Grist:
Golden promise: I love the way it taste… sweet clean and slightly malty
Vienna: for that sweet maltyness but not as strong as Munich
Crystal 10: Give it a slight bit of color and sweetness + body
carapills: Give it some head retention and some slight chewiness
Hops: basically wanted a clean bittering and that citrus, orangees, grapefruit taste+aroma
