Brewing Attire

Am I the only one who has a brewing wardrobe?

Only from the waist up.  Can we assume no pants?

I learned that from another poster here.

I usually use bleach as a sanitizer (I work for the country’s largest bleach marketer). So I need a shirt that’ll take being splashed w/bleach solutions.  That said - a few shirts have been thrown out and now I have a few “brew day” shirts.

The best one is one that was “ruined” but then bleached until it became homogeneous.

I thought strange ingredients at first, brewing a tire?

My only hard and fast rule is no shoes so I can tell when I forgot to close the ball valve on my mash tun. Generally the brew day begins in pajama pants, then I usually end up getting dressed to grab food before the day is over.

Birthday suit.

Usually sweats.  I’ve got an awesome pair of orange sweat pants.  They even have pockets.

I have a couple lab coats I used to wear when I used bleach.  Felt like a total nerd.  Don’t use bleach anymore, but sometimes I throw the lab coat on when I’m using the table saw.  Keeps me from being covered in saw dust.

gotta be the utilikilt. very utilitarian and kilty.

I’ve always imagined Denny brewing (and most often existing) in a utilikilt.

that’s something I might’ve kept to myself…

I need some mind bleach.

I nominate mind bleach for “Term of the Week”.

I use Mind San - don’t fear the foam!

Maybe he is trying to be a Beer Mentat…

It is by beer alone I set my mind in motion. It is by malting barley the grain acquires sugar, the boil kettles acquire wort, the wort becomes an elixir. It is by beer alone I set my mind in motion.

Of course the eye brows might be a problem in the brew house.

Yep…

Mr Beer cap is sweet.  But sleeveless in Topeka?

It was a nice day and my little brew garage gets pretty warm with 6 gallons of liquid boiling.
