Commercial Beer FGs (tested with an Easy Dens)

Pilsner Urquell - 1.016

WOW. now that is actually one i wanted to know. i believe you took the result… but i just wonder… ?? really? thats huge

On another forum, they maintain a spreadsheet of various commercial beer FGs.  Someone there measured PU with an Easy Dens and listed it as 1.014.

I ran it twice and got 1.016 each time.

i googled just after i posted this and someone said 1.015. it probably varies from mixed batch to mixed batch.

Athletic Brewing Run Wild IPA (non-alcoholic) - 1.019
Sierra Nevada 2024 Oktoberfest - 1.013

I’m not knowledgeable about how N/A beer is brewed, but I was expecting a much lower FG (for no particular reason).

since i’m trying to watch my carbs… i better stick to a 6% ABV IPA - the healthy choice

No matter how you cut it, alcohol is not healthy. Athletic also makes low carb beers.

lol, i dont watch my carbs and i was joking.

re: diet - i just try to avoid eating any industrially processed stuff and eat whole vegetables, fruits and many different parts of animals ie. organs, skin, bones, muscle tissue, etc

i jsut realized i have a good tall and thin glass that my hydrometre could work in - i should start adding to this thread functionally as of tongiht

Modelo Especial - 1.012

Pliny the Elder - 1.022

I was surprised. I’ll buy another bottle and run it again when I can.
