Has anyone else here bought the Kegland Digiboil yet? I just bought the 220v 9.25gal version and will be brewing on it this weekend. It is a great value if all want is to go electric for boiling. About ~170$…
Brought 1 gal of ground water to a boil in just under 5minutes for me today.
I’ve used the 35 liter 110 volt model for a couple of months now. Takes about 40 minutes to bring 5 gallons of 55F water to mash temp. Currently using it to heat water and boil wort. Less boil off than my propane kettle and allows brewing indoors during the winter. Slower than propane, but the ease of cleaning makes up the time.
I just brewed with it today. Got a strong rolling boil in about the same amount of time as my propane burner took. It is good for what it is. An electric kettle with and affordable price tag
