I’ve travelled Europe professionally (as owner and guide of a “micro” tour company) for years, and my knowledge of and appreciation for European beer traditions has grown exponentially. While many of my travelers are always asking about the best wines, I’m personally always looking out for the best beers (even in Italy - one of the best pubs in the whole world has got to be Birreria Pub Gambrinus in tiny Levanto on the Ligurian coast).
