Free Recipes

Hey all,

I am new to the forum.  I am the owner of Hop and Sting Brewing near Dallas, TX.  I wanted to leave a link to our site.  I have posted two recipes on the “beers” page (Fire Engine Red and Sir Williams English-style Brown).  Click on those beers and there should be a link to PDFs of 10 gal recipes.  There is nothing to buy.  We just want to do something fun for home brewers.

An FYI on the beers.  Sir Williams was a brand from a brewery called Grapevine Craft Brewery.  We purchased their facility last year, along with rights to some of their old brands.  Sir Williams is a 2X GABF medalist (Gold 2014, Silver 2016).  Should be a fun brew for those who enjoy the style.

Check in to the site from time to time to check on new recipes and/or follow us on social media.  We hope to add new ones every couple months. Also feel free to contact us for advice on those recipes.

Nice looking lineup of beers.

This one caught my eye:

Frigid Underworld Imperial Espresso Stout
ABV:60% IBU:80
Availability:Draft and cans (cans limited)
Additional Notes
This big stout is a force to be reckoned with. With an aroma of roast and dark fruits, the beer has a medium body and moderate sweetness from the lactose and oats to balance the roasted malts.

60%.  Imperial, indeed!    :o

That has both hop and sting.

Hi Brian,
Thank you for your generosity!

Perhaps the stout recipe will be posted next.

It probably pairs well with that $299 burger I see advertised on television. Oh, wait, they said they forgot the decimal point.

Please do.  I’d love to check it out.

It’s obviously a 6% stout not a 60%. You can’t get up to 60% without distillation. Odd the original poster didn’t correct that…
