FWHing and batch sparging

The only times I used first wort hopping was back when I fly sparged, which took 45 minutes to an hour to complete the sparge.  Now that I’m batch sparing, I’m done in probably half the time or less.  Does that reduce the effectiveness of FWHing?  Should I slow the sparge down?

I’ve only ever batch sparged and FWH works just fine.  I dump the hops in the kettle before I start the first runoff and go from there.

Same here.  Not having tried fly sparging and FWH, I can’t say that it’s less effective if you batch sparge, but I can say that FWH works great with batch sparging.
