Denny had over 300 batches brewed and his own yeast strain before this forum even went active. He is a prolific poster BECAUSE he is a better brewer and has the experience to back it up. Let’s just be thankful that he has the time and is willing to share it with the rest of us!
It actually doesn’t take long to distinguish the “post whores” from the people who know what their taking about. There’s a guy on another forum who could probably figure out how to build a spaceship, fly to the moon, and brew in a zero oxygen atmosphere, but has pretty low post count.
Post counts are fun, but don’t try to take them too seriously ( well except in Denny’s case 
)

where would I find the number of posts required for the various levels?
Best way is to just spend time onboard and check out the different poster’s levels…
Start with Denny and work your way down…I suppose you could pm Drew and get em…

That would be totally funny to have a moving bar, based on Denny’s numbers.
So like Denny - 2500 = 1st kit, Denny - 2000 = noob braumeister …
Eventually it would take 10K posts to get out of 1st kit ranking. And that’s ok because it’s all a joke anyway, this would just make it a bigger one. Actually maybe everyone would chill out about their “rank” if we went to this model.

OK I don’t get it what are the stars about? I thought they coincided with the other rankings(titles) and just kept increasing on your way to Denny-dom.
