GF G40 vs Clawhammer 10g system?

I have the opportunity to buy each of these units. Both lightly used and for a similar cost. Which way would you go? I do like the idea of the easily replaceable components of the Clawhammer, but the compactness of GF has it’s pluses too.

Are they apples to apples? IOW, is one programmable, Wi-Fi, etc? That could tip the scale for you if you’re interested in/opposed to those features.

I haven’t used a Clawhammer, so I can’t directly compare. But I can tell you that the G40 is my idea of a perfect brewing system. I get flawless, consistent performance that makes great beer and makes my brew day fun and easy.

I’ve been running a 10G 110V Clawhammer for the past 6 years and will say i absolutely love it. The replacement parts is a huge plus along with having their profile within the brewfather app is nice. I’ve never used a G40 so not knocking on them or anything, just have no experience to compare the two. I also really enjoy having the pump external for cleaning and repairs. I think you’ll be happy either way you go. Cheers
