Going to beach next week, need ideas

So our family vaca is next week and headed to the beach for a week. I already got a way to keep the corny kegs cold but looking to see if there is a less “bulky” way of Co2 application. I hate to bring the whole Co2 setup. Is there anything smaller that will give me enough co2 to last a couple days?

thx

I believe this is what you might want. Cheers, and have a great vacation!

I’ve used a carbonator on a 2L bottle as a source of CO2, successfully.  You can safely put 40 psig into a 2L bottle.    Obviously it doesn’t provide pressure regulation, but it works to top up pressure.  To purge the bottle, submerge it in a bucket of Starsan so that it is completely filled with Starsan and then bubbling in the CO2.

Obviously this isn’t as good as the product in the 2nd post.

There are paintball get ups you can use, also.  Bulkier than the keg charger, but they have a regulator and a 20 oz. tank.

I bought something called a Jak Pak.  It’s intended for portable pneumatic tools (roofing, etc.).

I think I got mine for around $40 but it was years ago.  Works fine, but I’ve only used it a couple of times.

This is what I use. Not as fancy as the one posted above. I got like a 20-pack of the CO2 cartridges which I consider a lifetime supply.
