Homebrewers Near Owensboro, KY

Any home brewers near Owensboro interested in starting a homebrew club?

My neighbor is a new homebrewer so we have 2 brewers for a club now.

We’ve got a club down in Bowling Green that meets the second Thursday of the month at Gasper Brewing Co.  You are more than welcome join us.

Thanks for the invite. I’ve been to a club meeting at Gasper Brewing and everyone was nice and I think y’all have a good club. But it’s over an hour drive, if it was closer I would come down to your club meetings.

I am from Henderson, KY and am a member of the Ohio Valley Homebrewers Association.  We meet in Evansville, IN on the last Wednesday of each month at Damsel’s Brew pub.  You and the Public is welcome to join.

Thanks for the message. I went to one meeting and the club was awesome. But it’s a bit of a long drive for me so I decided not to return.

OVHA! Is this Tom??

I’m a former president and board member of the OVHA, but I have seriously considered forming a club in Warrick County, IN. Still 45 minutes for either of us. But if you get one together, I’d be sure to visit! You could always start informally, and make it AHA official when you’re ready, I suppose.

Warrick Co may work for me. I live near Maceo, KY which isn’t too far away.

Haven’t got a group together. Where would you meet in Warrick County county? I live near Maceo, KY.

I am located in Boonville, which is centered in the county (also the county seat). I’m showing Maceo is 30 miles, or 37-minute drive. That’s not too bad.

This is certainly only a concept at this point, but who knows! I’m sure I could round up a decent group to join right out of the gate. Also wondered if there is such thing as a “satellite” chapter of an existing club, or a “sister” club option thru the AHA. I have strong ties and lots of good friends in the OVHA, however, I know there are a lot of folks driving thru Boonville to get to the West Side of Evansville.

If nothing else, we should definitely connect soon, and maybe brew together!

Cheers,
John

Sure let me know a good time. I’m retired so I’m usually flexible.

Sounds good. My next brew day will likely be on Saturday the 20th.

I’m available on the Jan 20th. So that works for me.
