How are yuuuuu?

Yup, Scotland…“Glasgo” to be exact. Found a really, I mean really nice place in the Pot Still…

For all you Scotch freaks, this place would be HEAVEN. But alas, since I had to behave I held back, and just enjoyed a cask conditioned Deuchars… probably the best beer made in the UK… (I know, I know, that’s a sore subject… all due respect…)

Fer cryin’ out loud, pull yerself together man!  Yer’ a grown man flyin an air machine! Yer cryin’ like a bebe!

It is a good beer, but not I feel the best beer brewed in the UK. I suggest wider sampling is in order.

I suggest oscar finds a reason to divert to Bristol the next time he flies anywhere near the UK…

(maybe blame the weather? Doe’s the UK have any bad weather?) ;D

We have a lot of wet. Nothing dramatic, but we do have plenty of wet.

Reason enough to stay inside and have a pint.

How aire ewe?

Spent 3 happy years in Scotland outside Aberdeen. Drank a fair bit o McCewan’s… Which is funny because they obviously didn’t mind selling beer to a 12 year old.

Belhaven brewery turned me on to ‘real’ beers back when I had just turned 21 (six years already! I’m getting old) and I still love their Wee Heavy and Twisted Thistle.

Darn… we just quit flying there. Spent quite a few layovers.

You fly for Continental by any chance? I’m irritated that they dropped the Bristol to Newark route last year  >:(

It was a money loser to begin with. We flew it because the City of Bristol guaranteed us for a period of time… Time was up.

Too bad, but if you make it back, let’s see about grabbing a beer,

Hey!  I’ve got one of those…    (a really nice place, that is…  )
