I just have to pat myself on the back for a moment...

Tonight I pulled a sample of the all munich barley wine I brewed nearly 2 months ago. It has been sitting in the Rumble barrel that I got from Balcones distillery for 3 weeks and it is friggin awesome. I think this may be the best beer I have brewed. certainly the best barley wine.

ok enough of that.

More of that!  Sounds amazing.
Hopefully you have some local folks there to beam your pleasure at. 8)

Awesome man - recipe?

Way to go.  I vote for posting the recipe too.

Put it in the wiki!

I love a good BW. Glad it’s working out for you…and it will probably get even better with age.

Sounds great!  I would like to do a barrel aged BW sometime.  Now I can’t wait to taste my Munich Belgian.

Bring some to the January GBA meeting - because I won’t be making it to the Christmas party.

Hmmm… I’m highly skeptical. I’ll PM you my address and you can send me 2 bottles so I can QA them.

I was thinking the exact same thing.  I doubt it’s really any good, I’ll have to judge for myself.

Keg it and bring it to Weaze’s mancave. Then we can all just fill our growlers.

It’s great that you hit your “spot”.  That is what all this inquiry stuff is about.  Sounds like one nicely complex brew.  Please do post the recipe, like Denny said.

Cheers.

Alright! it’s in the wiki. first rain english barley wine. First rain cause is started raining for the first time this winter while brewing
