Keg Setup

Hey all - I am getting more and more confused looking on the net for information on a keg setup. I already have a kegerator with a drip tray, one ball lock keg, a draft tower without tubing, and a CO2 tank. I figure I need a CO2 regulator, a liquid ball lock disconnect, a gas ball lock disconnect, and beverage tubing. I don’t know what I need to attach to the beverage tubing to connect to the CO2 regulator OR to the draft tower. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

The gas line is what goes from the CO2 regulator to the gas in post of the keg. The liquid out post of the keg (via a QD) connects the beer line on one end, and the other end of the beer line goes up through the tower and connects to the faucet with a clamp.

It’s all done with hose barbs and clamps. Sometimes a flare swivel fitting plus hose barb is needed.

Cool. I think I’ve almost got everything, although I’m going to invest in a double gauge regulator instead of the single one that came with the kegerator.

Check the Draught Beer Quality Manual:

https://www.brewersassociation.org/educational-publications/draught-quality/

to determine the length of tubing you’ll need (amongst other things).

Wow! Exactly what I needed. Thanks

I would recommend starting with double the amount of beer line as recommended in the manual and adjust as needed.
