We all know that “There are no stupid questions” is just a smart way to laugh with people, but still: how do you pronounce “kegerator”? “keggherator” or “kedzjerator”? My fortunately significantly different other says it’s “kedzjerator”, although she has no clue as to what that word refers to. Since I have made it my life’s mission to prove people wrong I sincerely hope it’s “keggherator”.

I was curious what somebody from the Northeast would say. My nephews pronounce some words horribly. Mundie and wader are two that drive me nuts.

There’s two Gs in keggerator, so you roll the Gs. So, kay-(gargling sound)-ar-8-ar
kej-car-WHOA-ter. Here in the Midwest, this is how we say it. It sounds like you’re speaking a different language. Like a language they would speak on another planet or something. Okay, kidding. Keg-er-ator and it’s a “hard G”… basically KEG and the last part of refrig… ERATOR. Now, how do you pronounce PERLE and DIACETYL?
