I guess I’m still a bit twitchy because this unexpectedly happened to me recently.

You should be good under a lot of circumstances. Just not the one in the photo.
I personally don’t have an issue with blowoff.
I routinely ferment 5.5 gal in a 7 gal fermenter. When i get some yeast in my blowoff jar i just shrug it off …there are a lot of variables.

What is wrong in the photo? Are you trying to tell me my beer won’t be good?
Absolutely not. The outcome of the beer has nothing to do with blowoff.
I’m just saying the photo shows a vigorous ferment that would have benefited from more headspace if blowoff is a concern. Like I said, i just shrug it off. It’s no biggie.
Either that or a blowoff tube.
I’m surprised this topic has continued to be discussed as long as it has. Just sayin’.
