My only hope for this year’s NFL season is that the Eagles don’t totally embarrass themselves. They have so many talented players but can’t seem to pull it together. The only reason I even care is my nephew is their main kicker and it would be cool for him if they had a respectable season for once.

What a weird game. Manning looked really good, which will further irritate their fans when they don’t win the superbowl again.
I will say that the corpse of Dallas Clark isn’t going to cut it, especially with Jacoby Jones out.
My one wish for the Eagles came true. They got a new head coach this season. Now, if they could just get a decent starting QB (that doesn’t abuse dogs), I might be able to root for them again!
Well…we can’t forget about that.

This is what I’m hoping for. I have Manning on my fantasy team so I hope he goes on a tear all season, then Brady smokes him in the playoffs again.
I know what you’re saying. I really expected Vic to to gone after last season. No such luck though.

That was an enjoyable season opener! It’s good to see Wes Welker in a Broncos uniform. I liked him as a Dolphin, and hated him as a Patriot.
Pretty cool that Denver’s place kicker Matt Prater played at Central Florida (my alma mater).
Did anyone else see the Denver cheerleader twerk for the camera, or was I just hallucinating? Al and Chris were talking, then got quiet when it happened, then kinda continued on talking, a bit awkwardly.
Yes! I let out a loud, spontaneous “oh yeah!” My wife says, from the other room, “what are you yelling about? The Eagles don’t play til monday!” (I usually only get loud when the Eagles are on) ;D

No kidding. These first two games for the Pats were supposed to be an extension of preseason, but Buffalo gave them a game. And the ouch moment when Amendola was grabbing his groin and limping off the field made me hurt. Thankfully someone rubbed it for him :o at halftime and he got back out there for the 2nd half!
