Need to re-orient my CO2 for my ‘conditioning’ chest freezer. Any issues with drilling a couple of holes through the lid to feed the gas lines through? I’m hoping I can find some rubber grommets/gaskets of the right size to make it snug.
Not interested in building a collar - only need to get gas lines through and can’t add anymore height due to space constraints.
Well, the lid comes off with hinges, so obviously no works in there to worry about like the walls. I wonder if it’s solid foam core or fill that could be messy? I’d think at worst there’s some empty space to fill with expanding foam.
That’s what has been stopping me from drilling. The gasket trick never occurred to me though, I might look at that. My tank takes up too much room inside…
