On the eve of Christmas I feel compelled to say this:
We all come from different backgrounds, professions, areas, etc.
We all enjoy much overlap in our beer tastes. We also are diverse enough to like some styles and not others. Some are diehard German Lager fans, devoted Belgian Ale fiends, adoring English beer freaks, and some are voracious consumers of the American style of bitter beers.
The people here don’t always agree. Different processes for different people, different preferences on ingredients and at times dogmatic reverence for what they have always done. All are smart and humble enough to take advice from their fellow forum members.
At the end of the day people come here to have a virtual “meeting of the minds” about their favorite hobby. They come here to share their experiences in order to help others. They come here for the good times.
Merry Christmas to all of you. Thanks for all the great advice and help.
Merry Christmas and cheers to everybody for making this forum the best, most entertaining one on the net ! We’re all better for the collective knowledge and info here.
Merry Christmas to all from balmy Marco Island, Fla. We only have a little more time here, then back to more wintery, Christmas like weather in Indiana
Merry Christmas to all from balmy Louisiana. Mid-70s and humid here today. If I hadn’t lived here forever I might be thinking this was unusual (it happens every few years, but nobody seems to remember when it does).
