Need some advice...Old school Keggerator converstion to a homebrew system

I have a keggerator for a standard keg that I’d like to set-up/convert to a Pinlock or a Balllock keg.  I have the idea that simply changing out some fittings would do the trick, however I wanted to make sure I wasn’t under-thinking it.
Please advise…many thanks!

That’s about it. I would replace the line while your at it. Head down to your LHBS and they should be able to set you up. Doubt it will cost much since you already have a faucet and such.

Edit – it is worth the investment to use flare fittings if you plan on switching from ball lock to pin lock.

Didn’t think of the flare-fittings…good call!
Thanks

+10 on the flare fittings. Makes it easy to change fitting types, or to hook up a hand or electric pump to clean and sanitize your lines between kegs. You can also buy an MFL adapter kit that willallow you to use your old kegerator Sanke fitting if you ever want to connect a 1/6 bbl of commercial craft beer.
