NHC 2012 Hotel room(mie)?

Hi all-

As a single person heading to the NHC for a second time (just got my invite off the waiting list–Woot!), I’m looking for a place to sleep for the duration of the conference.

Anyone have an available bed, preferably in the main hotel?  The Westin would also be OK.

I promise not to be crazy, and maintain reasonably decent personal hygiene.

I do know a guy named Eddie from SW MI that just posted on our club distribution that he is in via the wait list.  He is a good guy.  He loved the NHC in SD.

Edit - always glad that my roomy for the NHC is someone I know well.  :slight_smile:

Meh, it just means he’s an OG starwars fan before Lucas ruined it by filming it. (the original script was about Anakin Starkiller)

Yes, the handle is a Star Wars reference.  I could have made a more brewing-savvy one, but I can only keep so many internet personas going before I start losing track! :p  And for the record, the first three movies were out before I was born ;).

I saw Episode 4 at a drive-in movie theater…my Dad to me and my sister.

(I was 3 when Star Wars came out. I remember seeing it at the drive thru when they did the re-release before Empire Strikes Back came out.)

doh! SHows where my brain is… yes, the drive-in. I think they tore down the one closest to my house in the late 80’s and replaced it with a Walmart (boo!)

I know the drive-in you mean, Drew.  They held flea markets there for a while.

The 2 drive-in’s where I grew up closed in the 80’s as well.  One went to a soft-porn format before closing and now is the home to a Jehoviah Witness Hall.  The other closed and the became a Kmart.

Did Starkiller find a roommate yet?  How we digress.
