7 paid, headed to San Diego
3 in. Going to San Diego from the other side of the Atlantic.
I’d enter more, but the shipping is expensive.
Good to know. I hate to complain about volunteers judging, but I was a little annoyed last year when two non-BJCP judges said my straight lambic needed more “funk”. Really? Have you read the guidelines?
Anyway, I know how huge an undertaking this is. Looking forward to this year being the biggest comp yet!
my guess is that all 10 regions in the US fill up in 2 days with most regions filling up today.
the canadian competition will probably add aboot 300 entries.
on a different note…why is it that in america, its a “national” competition when other countries are invited to participate BUT we have “world” champions when other countries are not invited?
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway? Why are they called apartments when they’re all stuck together? ;D
Got my entries into Portland. Looks like Portland will be full before dinner time PST. Almost 700 already, unbelievable.
And Portland is full. 5,500 entries overall in just over 8 hours.

I’m really not surprised by this. Being that NHC sold out in a week, I expected the comp to sell out in a similar fashion. Our hobby is going through a growth spurt.
Looks like San Francisco is almost there…721 !!
17 entries submitted to Canada. Not sure how to tell how many so far.
