This is probably a dumb question but what is the typical attire for day/night events at NHC? First-timer here and I ASSUMED it was fairly varied, but wondered if there was a norm for any portion or any of the events?
Thnx…
Cheers,
Timmy

I think you’ll find as with most things homebrewing - it is a relaxed crowd. Given the traditional online jokes I’m just happy no one does the whole “no pants” option.
The most people dress up for is the Banquet unless you’re me.
And even at the Banquet, I’d say the dress seems to be something like “business casual” for most of the guys, not too dressy IMO, but the Banquet is the most dressed up anyone gets. Pretty much anything goes, especially at Club Night.
See you there.

Thnx Drew…that’s about what I figured, but felt the need to ask. Congrats on your reelection and as a member of the The BN Army Air Corps I am surprised nobody has exercised the “no pants” option. As a long-time homebrewer and member, I am really looking forward to the event.
Cheers,
Timmy
No but in true BN fashion last year a couple of guys wandered the halls in nutters. shudder
I heard…I am on the more reserved side of the BN members…no nutters for me. Hope to cross paths with you at the conference.
:D :D :D :D :D
I generally bring my tux…
The most dressed up I get is to put on my red Chuck Taylor hi tops…
Do the angels wanna wear your red shoes?
No, the angels wanna wear my chicken hat!

Is that your chicken or Phil’s?
It’s Phil’s.
