Sweet 7 lb 8 oz baby Jesus. Thank you for being born, so Prairie has a reason to brew this amazing beer! Generally, I don’t care for spice in my beer, but this… this is out of this world! I don’t give 5 stars to many beers, but this gets my 5 stars!
I got lucky… Vintage Estates in Boardman, Ohio got a case in. They posted it on FB, and I got the next to the lady bottle. It was $9.99 for a single bottle, but worth it since I favored it for an hour as I put lights on the Christmas tree. The same place is tapping a keg of it on the 22nd. Can’t wait.
We’ve had Prairie in our market pretty much from the beginning because we’re one of the closest urban areas to Tulsa and one of the few without a local wild/sour/saison/brett competitor (at the time). It’s been at least a couple years since I’ve bought any of their beers because they had so many problems with infections in non-sour/brett beers (like Bomb! and Noir) and IMO not worth the price charged.
