So, Finally heading for Europe tomorrow...

F’ing fantastic. Just got back last night, with 23 bottles, several glasses, and a touch over 1400 photos. I’ll try and wrangle some up to post - of course I’ve already told several people that same thing, so it may take a while. Overall it was a fantastic trip, we drank buttloads of great beer all over the place. I’ll be going back for sure, although not sure when, as it was something of a cash-magnet. Oh well, totally worth it.

A little teaser  ;D

Now that is beer porn right in front of my very eyes.

more pics please…

Working on it. It’s a slow process. There will definitely be more to come…

Heading to the airport in a couple hours, Amsterdam,Utrecht, Keukenhof Gardens and some time in Antwerpen. :stuck_out_tongue:
Some many beers so little time  ;D
cheers

Hey not fair. It seems like you go over there every other week. This was my first time.  :stuck_out_tongue:

If you have a car, you should definitely hit up De Molen. They’re about 30 minutes outside of Utrecht. Fantastic little brewery, and some good food in the pub too.

Cheers!

Don’t be hating, its research…

My time is tight as I got a invite to my  buddies club opening party @Stadhuisbrug 3,Utrecht,  So we’ll stop by “Cafe Belgie” to start the night off

Friday we’re going to visit friends near Henglo.

Saturday its time to party

Sunday we’ll be resting in amsterdam, after that the wife has control of our trip.

I do have a bottle of Hopslam & my citra apa to take to the Kulminator, lady said she likes hoppy beers.

Seems the clock is going real slow today  as the wait is killing me.

Sounds like fun. Enjoy

hallo from amsterdam ;D

off to drink some beer now
cheers

Not according to your avatar

Kai

had a few brews  at “In de Wildeman” **too ** ::)  you know to help cleanse the palate.

now some thai food

Great pub. Had a couple there myself. I probably don’t need to tell you, but if you haven’t been there before, check out Café Gollem as well. Great place. Right across the alleyway from The Cracked Kettle.

The only real find of the trip:
Troubadour Magma — Brouwerij The Musketeers
Simcoe with another Big C hop?

Next was side by side-----  Westvleteren  12  vs St Bernardus Abt 12
Second time for this testing and again the Westy12 was miles ahead.

Yep and you can smoke too  :o ;D :D  Spent a few days/nights just watching people walk by…

Cracked Kettle and Café Gollem, De Bierkoning all have Westvleteren.

Yup, it’s pretty easy to get in Amsterdam. I didn’t bother though - it was cheaper at the source.  ;D

A few  beers in the afternoon @ Café Gollem to start the evening.

Lookin good. That reminds me - I really need to edit and upload some photos.

Yes waiting to see some pics, I can only edit/upload alittle at a time before getting numb.

So what did you think of amsterdam? too much construction always going  for my taste.

I know. I’ve been so busy lately, I frankly haven’t had the time. And I agree with you, easy to get burnt out.

Amsterdam was certainly, interesting. There was indeed a ton of construction going on, but I noticed that in several other places too (Ghent and Brugge had quite a bit). The city was kinda cool looking, but hat a grimy, dirtiness that I didn’t care for. Literally trash everywhere. But the architecture and canals were obviously cool, as well as the food/beer. It’s really hard to form an solid impression having only been there once, and only for a few days.

Ok, here’s a handful.

The 6th pic down is the back of the flower market, did you wave at the webcam over looking that spot where you took the photo
