This National Homebrew Competition-focused issue has the medal-winning recipes from the 2026 NHC. Reminder, these recipes are validated by the judging process and are deemed to be the best beer, mead and cider in the world for homebrewing.
Read in print or online and if you don’t get Zymurgy join the AHA. We would love to have you in the world’s largest membership community for us homebrewers.

It says 4th Quarter. Is Zymurgy going to 4 publications per year going forward?
Yes - it was announced back at HBC and afterwards. The move to quarterly will help deal with the cost of the physical magazine and allow capacity to refocus on putting content online as well.
(People would be surprised to see how eye watering the print and postage costs are on a physical magazine)
Considering this is an AHA forum with a specific Zymurgy thread it’s a shame it was not mentioned here.

This is where we announced this and many other updates plus the AHA What’s Brewing Newsletter linked to the summary. Additionally, this most recent magazine issue (hitting mailboxes now and also already online) mentions this evolution in several places.
