Tired of disassembling kegs all the time?

Me too!

I have a submersible pump for re-circulating ice water through the IC chiller.

Looking at it one day AND a pile of kegs I said “self, there’s got to be a better way”

Tube here , QD there, T here and voila!

Now I take the lid off the corney, stick it in a big pot containing the pump and some Oxyclean solution.

Start up the pump and run Oxyclean into the QD’s on the IN/OUT of the keg

Once the keg is full I disconnect the gas post and let it run in the bottom of the keg via the BEER POST and out the top of the keg.

Very good idea my friend!

Here is how I do it… No body hates keg cleaning as much as me… Don’t know if we can imbed youhoo videos here yet…

Cool stuff gentlemen.

Where’d you pick up that nifty hose to ball lock connector?

I believe that’s a simple Quick Disconnect fitting, he mentions holding it on the post as it fit’s the diameter, but doesn’t lock. I do something similar, but have it fitted to a standard ball-lock, plus 40 psi is crazy cool pressure, I wish I had that…

Is it like the one here?  http://www.mcmaster.com/#7470t25/=4jqybl

Yea, it’s just a simple ball lock brass QD that I purchased at my local Lowes. In a stroke of luck they fit great! (almost) I can’t find these anymore. I have 12 sets for Brutus but I need one or two more really to match… I would suggest just taking one of your keg post to Home Depot or Lowes and see if you can find one that fits.

I would imagine that 40 psi would help depress the popet valve as well if held tightly, I am not sure I could pull that off with my enlarged prostate water pressure  ;D
