New Glarus brews really killer Lambic and other awesome Belgian styles which I used to drink before I got sick of phenols but I still dig a Flanders Red, Kreik, Framboise or any other of their tart Belgian styles. I’ve not really had too much of their wheat beers (not the biggest fan of Weissbier) but people seem to like it. Unfortunately they don’t brew their Edel Pils often if at all but it is incredible, almost worth going to Wisconsin for. Their normal pils is quite stunning as well. Their brew house is gorgeous (they have a Weissbierbrauerei, a separate brew house for their sour beers AND a coolship) and New Glarus itself is a really nice, albeit slightly kitschy town.

+1 recommending Bierstadt in Denver. That place is killer. Amazing beers, great view and an endlessly entertaining atmosphere. Their brewhouse is also really cool and they have a (not in use) old-style Lauter grant.

+1 recommending Bayern in Missoula, they rock.
