Using Damp-Rid

My keg freezer has some condensation that I’d like to deal with.  I’ve got some Damp-rid in bags but do you just pour it into a bowl or something and set it in the freezer?  I bought a pail of it once that had a permeable paper layer on top but this is in bulk.
How do you folks use it in your freezers?
Thanks

i saw an aritcle using http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000H0XFD2/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1UCBAG9YH9O8H&coliid=I215GZZPRVXWDE in a keezer.  THis is what im going to do:)

i bought one of http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/damprid-any-room-easy-fill-absorbing-system/1016793590?device=c&network=g&matchtype=&mcid=PS_googlepla_nonbrand_kitchenaccessories_&gclid=CJKU4pPovbsCFecRMwodVhcAaw these. Now I buy it in bulk and just refill the top.

I use damp rid in my ferm freezer and the electric dehumidifier in the keezer. My keezer is small and the damp rid only fit next to the wall causing it to freeze.

You could use Tupperware/deli type containers. For the bulk stuff. One shallow with a bunch of holes in it to let the water flow through and one deep to collect the water.

I bought a similar thing and refill it.  It works well, and I found a 50% off deal on the big bags so I’m good for a while.

I bought Damp-Rid (initially) in small, 2-piece plastic containers that allow water to pass through to the bottom.

The bags are refills: I buy the bags and wash/dry/replenish the plastic containers every month or so.

I may just try this little Dehumidifier gadget!

Same here.

I can vouch for the Eva-Dry. I’ve used them in my temperature-controlled freezers for over a year, and they’re just as effective as Damp-Rid.
