Where can I buy a small cask or two?

Just trying to get started with my first batch of cask-conditioned bitter and I’m having a heck of a time finding a small cask. Looking for plastic (preferred) or metal and as small as I can get. I’d go with wood as well if that was the only option. I’ve found wholesalers who want to sell in quantities of 5 or more, but nothing where I can pick up 1 or 2. Suggestions?

Can you put together a group buy?

+1  Very satisfied customer.  Look for a ‘pin’ cask.  It’s about the same size as a normal corny keg.

And if you’re even just slightly handy at woodworking you can build your own stillage.

Jeff and Gordon, I’ve had mine for three years, and could use some advice.
I’m going to start a post in the kegging/cask section if you find the time I would appreciate it if you share your experience/knowledge.

Edit: added link to cask use question.

John, no cask here.  My wife puchased a handpump from them as my birthday present some years back.  The plinth was broken in shipment.  They replaced it with no hesitation or questions, so they imediately came to mind when the question was asked.

Maybe I will get a pin someday.

Jeff…thanks for the reply anyway.

It’s really kind of a folly…there are much cheaper/easier ways to condition beer…but the idea of getting together with a group of homebrewers and tapping a cask sounds really fun. Plus, I’m starting to do more parti-gyle brewing, and a cask seems perfect for the small beer that comes off the end of the mash. As a session beer, you could drink it up quickly.
