I haven’t seen Leopold for sale online for quite a while, it’s possible they sell all their malt under contract or use it in their distilling business now. The next US malt I want to try is Montana Craft Malt Bavarian pilsner malt, which is currently available at Northern Brewer.
Which lager style and colour target are you aiming for? I would choose a fresh base malt with a useful analysis sheet then keep the first recipe plain enough to judge it.
