Who got in?

So hello all, I was just wondering who got in for 2014 NHC competition and how did I end with the number of entries that I asked for, not complaining but was not expecting that.  Anyway who else got in?

Danny

Also THANK YOU to all who have and answer the questions I have so I hadn’t really have a need to post, in the 3 years of membership, other then to say hello

I did. I judged at the final round last year so it was guaranteed. Everybody in the lottery got what they asked for, capped at 4, so I guess you asked for less than the cap?  Good luck!

I got in.

There is a good write-up of the process herehttp://www.homebrewersassociation.org/news/national-homebrew-competition-entry-registration-lottery/

even goes into some detail on the thought processes and various ideas that were investigated before the final shape of the thing was settled on.

Got 4 entries to Zanesville which was my first choice. Said i would judge Zanesville, might judge the finals, and the wife will steward both.

I registered my four entries today, though when I tried paying for them I received an ERROR 404 message.

Shades of last year…

Phil

I got in with 2 entries. I have been having problems with entering my entries though. At first it gave me a some weird errors. Logged out and then back in and it worked. Hopefully tonight I won’t have these issues when I actually submit my entries.

janis posted about this in another thread. Check the URL, if there is a www. at the begining, delete that and reload the page.

Awesome, thanks Mort

Four for Seattle.

glad to help!

I’m in, Zanesville.  I may judge there depending on some other travel I’m doing right around that time.  Or maybe Chicago.

I too got the 404, and removing the www. fixed it.

Haven’t has any problems at all.  Just paid for my entries and it was smooooooooooooooth.

FWIW, I would not have bothered entering without the changes in the registration process.

I had to continually sign in and out of the site, but got it done. The site kept telling me I didn’t have any pending entries. I think avoiding use of the back button is a good thing.

Yeah, that’s what I was getting Steve

Got in 4 entries in Chicago. Checked in and paid without issue using chrome.

Got four entries in and paid, but I had to submit the payment twice.  Mine are going to Ohio.

Two and done… NowI gotta figure which ones…

Got 4 in Seattle

2 in Saint Paul… Cats 20a and 21a.

Good luck!

I got 4 in my first choice, Philly.  I was excited because those guys ran a great competition 2 years ago (and sent one of mine through to the 2nd round where it won a silver).
