I took a year off once when I moved to NYC because I didn’t have the space (I lived in a tiny studio apartment with a mini-stove). When I got back into it, about 6 months after I left NYC, it didn’t take very long for me to (finally) switch to all-grain, start kegging, and get a temperature-controlled set-up.

I prefer Pepsi.

I actually brewed some stove top wheat beer a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty damn good too.
I am more into working on the equipment then I am into the brewing. I know that is no excuse for not brewing.
I stop in here cause of this great bunch of guys, the camaraderie and the intelligent badinage.

I second the motion.
Cap, feel free to come up here and help me rebuild my mash tun. I got me some ideas on that.
It should be noted that the rains have begun and that I found a cache of homemade wine when I was cleaning up the basement. Come on, Irene, tu lura la, come on, Irene, tu lura la…

The turbines on my house aren’t even moving. Weird cause it’s pretty breezy here most of the time. Total opposite weather. I’m watering my fresh cut lawn. Good luck man.

Guess that’s one way to resolve the dilemma
six inches of water in the basement. Lost a few shingles and thankfully this tree fell the other way. If not things could have been much worse.
I think this tree is gone too.
Im wondering if Im gonna get any cooking wood out of this situation.
Anybody know what kind of tree this is?
We are lucky though, there are a bunch of houses just a few blocks away that are up to the roof line in flood water.
Yesh, scary stuff Cap. :o
I though you were getting out of there and headed up state?
You don’t have any eucalyptus there do you?
Nate, with your humor, fermentation temps are soon on your horizon.
Best wishes for breaking through.
