So this is the first year Ive been a member of the American Hombrewers Association and I see that the registration for the 2016 National Homebrew Competition is opening at some point today through February 7th. Does anyone have tips or advice on this competition or filling out forms for it?

The best part of this setup is no matter when you submit during the registration period, there is equal chance for everyone. Sure beats the “old” days when you had to be online right when it opened and click refresh, refresh, refresh…

Excellent point. The Application form is available starting today and all the way through Sunday Feb 7th. It doesn’t matter when you apply during this time. You can fill out the application form today and change your mind about judge centers tomorrow, log back in and edit your application. Just be sure to submit your application before the Application period is over.

The emails will go out in several groups today, in order to minimize the unnecessary rush to the Application form.
Relax. Please. The Application form is available all day and night from this morning through February 7th. It does NOT matter when you apply. All applications received are treated the same.

I received NHC confirmation last night for the Nashville site. When I filled out entry information it stated entry shipment window ends March 11th, but on the main info site (Competitions->NHC->Competition Information) March 9th is listed as the deadline for receiving entries. So which is it? Is March 11th specific to the Nashville site?

I got my confirmation today in Indy. It also states the 11th.
It looks like they shifted the shipping windows a couple days. According to the rules in the software, entries will only be accepted 3/2/16 - 3/11/16, instead of 2/29/16 - 3/9/16 on the AHA page.
Seems like shipping week will depend on your regional judging dates.
Edited and paid up for Indy. Nice to get to hand carry to your LHBS. 8)
Now that you paid, can you still edit them?
I saw something saying to edit first. Once I edited, the option to pay popped up.
