I’ve contemplated buying beer shippers before, but the shipping to get the dang things racks up the cost. I wish my lhbs would stock some.
I use their 12 bottle shipper for sending beer to competitions. Works great. No broken bottles. Even gave a 12 pack to a buddy who flew home with them as a checked bag. No broken bottles for him either.
Lots easier than trying to cobble together something on your own that may or may not work.
With shipping, they are about $4.60 each, which seems worth it to me. I’m going to order some.

Really nice shippers. Fortunately for me, they are located 30 minutes away so I can avoid the shipping cost.
Finally got around to buying some of these; they’re great.
