Why did you begin home brewing?  I was lost in a boat in the middle of the Okeefenokee Swamp with a case of friend’s homebrew (half gone by that time) - and I didn’t care if we were found.

8). Why did you begin home brewing?
Because it interested me, and it interested me because: I like beer, cooking, making things that taste good, and a challenge; homebrewing caters to all of these.

   Lots, but my primary goal is to be able to brew any beer that I can conceive - to accurately translate a mental picture of the beer and its characteristics into a recipe and final product.

   Brewed a kit a friend gave me from London.  After that I wanted to make beer that wasn’t available in my local stores.  We had strange laws in Florida that prevented getting any beer that wasn’t in a twelve ounce bottle.

   Make good, consistent beer, win some awards, esp NHC

8. Why did you begin home brewing? -  Caught wind of it when I was 17. Always looked fun. My wife got a beginners kit for our 10th anniversary, and I went nuts with it.
